The Graduate Teaching Academy presents a panel discussion with representatives from a variety of types of hiring institutions to discuss the dynamics of an academic career at different college environments.

Panelists include:

Dr. Laurence Meissner (Professor of Biology, Concordia University-Austin)

Mr. Richard Moore (Executive Director, Texas Community College Teachers Association)

Dr. Robert Webb (Interim Dean of Graduate Studies, Texas A&M University)

With a vision for impacting the development of excellent college teachers in all academic disciplines, the Graduate Teaching Academy (GTA) offers professional development in teaching to supplement research-oriented graduate programs.  This graduate student-led organization is supported by the Center for Teaching Excellence, the Office of Graduate Studies, and the Center for the Integration of Research, Teaching, and Learning at Texas A&M University.
