Have you wondered how to integrate more active and cooperative learning activities into your already existing course design? Do you use group work in your classroom but question its effectiveness? This workshop will focus on how you can strengthen elements in your teaching that contribute to making active and cooperative learning effective: student interdependence, interaction, individual accountability, collaboration skills, and processes to assess and improve group effectiveness.
