Want an efficient and fair way to grade student work? A rubric lists the criteria against which student work is judged and describes the various levels of quality for these criteria. Rubrics make grading efficient and easy, consistent and fair, and can be used by students for self-assessment and learning. In this workshop we will review sample rubrics, experience the process of rubric development and give you time to develop a rubric for a student assignment.
